Superdrug Tea Tree Oil

alas!!! i found a tea tree oil perfect for my super tight back pocket!

there's no The Body Shop near my place, so i have to go and find a tea tree oil available for me to try.

as i browse thru the aisle of watson's at SM department store, i found a green box... clearly saying TEA TREE OIL.

and then the heavens lighten up and the sound of hallelujah filled my ears!!! lol

i purchased the item immediately 

i just got lucky i got the oil.

chances are, of i got the pure tea tree oil, i'm screwed... you must not apply pure tea tree, some articles say that it's harmful.

so, again, go and get the blended oil. :D

its about 6 weeks of using until i finally got the bottle empty. hehe

and then i purchased again....

and my mom got one for herself too

and another one, just in case... hehe i'm so  afraid to lose one of these hehe

tadaaa!!!!

its 10ml and i'm very happy with the result... i'll not buy another if i'm not satisfied.. lol

and the best news...its Php134.00 only!!!! yes!!! way way cheaper than other tea tree oil available out there...

yeah i know it's summer....


but i really love these lotions...hehe hmmmmmmmm they smell so good and it makes me  feel good  too hehe




first is the bath&body works sweet pea antibacterial moisturizing hand lotion.

yeah... i was quite hesitant because of the "SWEET PEA" i didn't know sweet pea could be an ingredient for lotion.
one more, "antibacterial" reminds me of isopropyl alcohol....and might be drying to skin.
but then again, it's moisturizing... weeee

here it is...tadaaaaa

it's really watery and could be absorbed easily by the skin....

and it smelled soooooooooooooooooooooooo good! no kidding. its just so good that i cant help sniffing it right after application. :D

btw, look at my cute pink piggy bank hehe :)

what i love about this lotion is that is says not single...not double...but TRIPLE! yeah triple moisture...it seems like using this makes even your ankle so silky..hehe  so promising!

another is the cucumber melon combination...luv it so much!
cucumber for summer. we all  know that cucumbers has so much waster in it, making  it perfect for dry skin and a favorite effective moisturizer.
the melon reminds me of summer too. :) melon is just  my favorite sweet fruit refreshing scent .

it looked quite thick here  but its really creamy and  light...

and it smells soooooooooo good too.. and what i like the most is that it's not sticky even under hot weather. and the scent lasts whole day long...

for me, i don't wait for the end of the day to slather it to my hands...it just makes me happy :)

p.s. both lotions are in paper tube packaging....reminds us to take care of our environment... :D

Review: Fashion 21 Leg foundation

hello again!

it has been a month since i purchased this 

tadddaaa! Fashion 21 Leg Foundation! with tea tree oil, enhanced waterproof formula, and gives pearl shine.

hmmmm sounds good!

uhmm you see i do have bad skin condition. really sensitive skin. i was in college when i first sucked all courage and wore shorts little bit above the knee...

geez. apologies for my ugly leg *sigh*

moving on...

it contains mostly stuff i don't know how to pronounce, but i know tea tree oil and titanium dioxide is good. tea tree oil is for lightening blemishes and titanium dioxide is a must component of sunblock...

Directions:

apply generously to legs.

blend evenly with hands.

allow 3-4 minutes for leg foundation to settle on skin. 

i'm really praying for this product to work... let's see.

shocked.... it turned out to be....pink @_@

why? oh why?

the product  is actually Cheap. 175 boom! it's really a steal, and quite a lot for 175... i think it  could last  for a couple of months of daily application. 

on the other hand, 

do not apply the product GENEROUSLY. it's not lotion that your skin will absorb immediately. its better to apply a bit and add more when needed.

and i prefer using sponge to blend other than my hand to blend the foundation. not the latex sponge. the foundation takes quite a while to dry and using your hands when blending may end up soiling your dress, your bed, your sofa, your towels, and everything else!

another tip is to apply setting powder with powder brush as the final step. it sets the foundation  and dries it faster. 

i didnt expect it to be pinky shiny. i even thought it would be darker since the foundation looks tan initially.

true to its words, it gives pearl shine effect but really unecessary. i wish it has SPF other than pearls.

super waterproof!!!! yeah this is a must for night swimming.. not ....NOT for beach trips.. it doesn't have SPF....
